For middle-school students, going into 5th - 8th grade
Open to students GOING INTO 5th grade through 8th grade, our art camps are taught by educators and artists, and are designed to nurture creativity and imagination! Last year our students worked with acrylic paint, illustration, mixed media, figure drawing, photography, printmaking, clay, resin relief, acrylic pours, wire sculpture, plaster casting, and geometric construction, and tried a bit of zumba, fashion, and yoga! We expect to have a ton of fun this year as well!
Your student will be introduced to numerous techniques and projects every day based in two dimensional and three dimensional art. Sessions are Monday - Thursday, 9am-4pm. Option to sign up for full day session ($100 per week per student), morning or afternoon session only ($75 per week per student). BEST DEAL both weeks, full day for just $175! Scholarships are available for students who have a demonstrated financial need - please contact the Art Center.
Full day campers are expected to bring their own lunch (a refrigerator is available), during the transition hour, we will be socializing, eating our lunches, taking urban/nature walks, and sometimes have been known to hold a zumba class!
We are remaining flexible, due to COVID-19 if we must cancel in-person Art Camp, refunds will be offered, but we have a plan B in the works that will be equally as fun and challenging!!!
